Default Anyone got a powerball?

Got a powerball today. It's bloody hard work!

My top speed so far is 10,045 rpm. What's your best?

Rumour has it if you don't have a girlfriend you can break the 15,000 rpm barrier!

I have one of the original from about 10 years ago... funnily enough being from that long ago it does not show you RPM

back in 2005 when these came out they were the rage on Visordown ...
from my posts back then ..

" Spokey - 11,992 ( with a steel hook plate and 4" of staples in my shoulder ) "

anything below 12K was classed as "warming up " ... I saw a video of someone getting 15K out of one

Nordie boy got 12799 ... don't think anyone cracked 13K though

I found I could make mine go faster shaking it from side to side rather than rotating it ...

Haven't used in in ages - good laugh is to get it going, then hand it to one of the kids and watch them trying to keep hold of it ...

Think I better have a break. My hand is shaking and I'm getting a blister

How come when it isn't spinning you can only turn it on one axis?

You can turn it on more then one axis when it is not spinning, it is just difficult.

I have had one of these things for nearly 3 years now. Got it for my american football training as it helps you grip better, but, not I used it for the bike and it builds up forearm strength

That's what I struggle with at high speeds - just hanging on to the thing. It keeps moving about in my hand
