That fronts looking really nice, perhaps not worth all the effort for joe bloggs like me. But for you with your contacts, machine access etc then the efforts defo paid off.

My vote would be to leave it alone unless you're doing the frame as well (which would be nice). Otherwise it looks out of place, like you've crashed/damaged yours and swapped in one from a newer bike.

i know, its been sorted at the moment as i have designed a new clock bracket that allows me to keep the light at the same height that it is now but take it 20-30mm closer to the head stock
