Default What constitutes a fsh?

Back in the day when I worked for a car dealer group, anything that varied by more than 1 month or 1000 miles from the specified service intervals was viewed as meaning a car did not have a fsh. A couple of bike dealers have recently told me that they would not agree with this sort of view on a used bike. What would you classify as a fsh, and why?

I'd say whatever makes you happy that the car has been serviced as and when required.

I've got a FSH on Suzy....
It was bought by my ex, and serviced only by him(well ok maybe at the stealers for its first initial warranty ones). When I bought it, it was only serviced by him, Pat(my mechanic until he got knocked off his a bike ending his career) or YC.

There, full service history

Reason I ask is because I've been thinking of changing the Sprint. It's been serviced to mileage but not to dates, specifically because it was sat in a dealer for 6 months before I bought it, and then I've had it serviced at approx 14 month intervals.

According to the car trade, it doesn't classify as having a fsh. According to the bike trade however, it does.

It means nothing, depth of services done is not enough to keep it running indefinitely without replacement of bits which should last.

Buy them privately from someone who knows what they're about.
