I am looking at the option of moving to London. My offices are in Canary Wharf and I would like something small but preferably with a garden for the dog.
I plan to ride to work either on the bike or get a scooter. I would prefer semi centrally so that I can socialise with friends. Any suggestions on areas, prices so that I can see how feasible the idea is before I start speaking to my boss? Thanks |

Have a look at this thread from last summer, when Ophic was looking to move down here too.
http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=153940 Are you wanting to live somewhere on your own? Or share a house / flat? I assume you mean you'll be renting. As a very rough guide, in a house share you'll be looking at anything from £400 per month upwards for something not grotty. For a 1 bed flat on your own it will be more like £800 per month (going up to unimaginable prices) depending on the area. Plus a bit more if it has a garden. Those prices are without bills. But London's an enormous place with an infinite variety of areas to suit all tastes and most budgets. |
