Default Insurance rip off - no not me

This is my mate over on the 675 site. He's 32, lives in saaaf Lunnun, air traffic controller, no points and no recent claims, bike would be alarmed and garaged. But he let his NCB lapse...

To insure a new 675R, fully comp, Churchill quoted him......

Cheap. Someone on here just got a quote.

600cc bike, worth under £1000.
6 years experience.
6 years NCB.

FC cover insurance quote: £98,000.

Yep, refusing to insure you might affect your ability to get cover in future so that's a no no. But they can quote a stupidly high premium if they don't want your business.
