Default Anyone into green laning?

For about the past year or so, alongside my road SV, I have really been getting into green laning.

Anyone else into laning? if so what bike have you got and where do you go?

I ride predominately in Hampshire btw if anyone is down this way?

I've been green laning round Upham/Durley this afternoon, on my XT225.
So muddy the rear wheel jammed up against the swing arm on a descent at one point - great fun.

Cool, that is the serrow right? People swear by them! Espeaicvlly those that are shorter in the leg as they have the lowest seat height of the breed or something?!?

After a bit of google-fu, that looks to be near Eastleigh. Are there any LEGAL lanes round there then? Last time I tried to plan a route over that way, all the byways were 'restricted'

Yes its the Serow - ideal for a short **** like me.
A few legal lanes yes, I've got a round route of about 25 miles with about 5 miles of that off road, though Its 5 miles before I reach the first one. All found from studying Hampshire definitive map against OS. Also a member of the TRF, they are taking me out over Alton way sometime soon, supposed to be plenty round there.

If you are up for a ride, I have one that starts in Denmead, then goes up to Alton. its about a 60 miles round trip and must be ~40miles of it is offroad!?

There is also a longer route that is ~110 miles, approx 50% lanes - or combine the two (they overlap slightly) and it is ~140 miles in total.

All 100% legal lanes (unless status has changed unbeknown to me!).

I intended to go for a blatt tomorrow actually ... everyone that was going has driopped out for one reason or another ... so it is just me on my lonesome at the mo ... but I'll still go as I haven't been out for a coupla weeks

I've got a WR250F and a KTM 250 EXC (2stroke). The WR has an electric foot and decent tank range - but the 2t KTM is more fun to ride!

The WR really lacks low down grunt, whereas the KTM has ample!

Just joined the TRF, hoping to get out with some of the lancashire lot next month. Been looking at their pics of some of the rideouts and with envy. My '89 DT125 is smaller than the majority of their bikes but was welcomed as something of a classic, which was a nice surprise!

Cant wait to get out and explore. All them days when I've wanted to get the bike out and its been raining....not a problem anymore
