I have just been offered some KTM racing oil. It is a 20w/60 fully sinthetic race oil developed by KTM and motrex, they say its for all KTM racing engines singles and v-twins (RC eight and all rally ,race bikes). I an wondering if anyone has any thoughts on using this on a minitwin. Cost is rrp of £70 for four ltrs but I have been offered a substatial discount on this price. Any feed back on this would be very helpfull.

I'm not sure a 60 hot rating would be safe or at all helpful.
A lot of people go other way and use a 0W30 or something. IMO a normal 10W40 is fine and switch to a fancy synthetic if you're minted. For minitwins anyway.
