does the standard exhaust set up add a few more torques as opposed to a slip on end can is it a negligible amount??

You shouldn't lose out by adding a slip-on, you'll probably only really get the benefit at higher revs though, as long as the fuelling is set up to suit.

Generally a system on its own may show a small gain dependant on make and length/bore etc. To get the best benefits you will need to get the fueling sorted to suit either by a direct to ecu remap or via a PC3.

The standard can is heavy, most aftermarket cans aren't so performance gain there too.

Yep I think Akro claim about 4kg saving for a full system compared to stock for the curvy (for example).
