Default Insurance Quote

At the momment i'm currently insured with Aquote (not had to put them to the test lucky so have no idea what they are like) my policy is up for renewel soon and have just got them to quote me for fully comp and protected NCB.

I'm 36, 7 years no claimss, 53 reg sv650s with braided lines, lower fairings, seat cowl, crash bungs, end can, Meta 357vt2. (all declared) also N reg '96' DR350ses. no points, one claim in the last 5 years.

The price for the year £116.57

I actually questioned this, making sure thay had all my details right atleast three times.

It seems to me there's a bit too much cherry picking going on in the insurance market these days. IMO bikerskez should be paying a little bit more (no offence!) and Beaverboy10 should be paying a bit less.

I'm paying £56 fully comp for the stock SV. That's madness - it barely covers the admin of issuing the policy.

That's only £30 cheaper than I was paying when I first passed my test for my SV. That was with A quote as well.

No insurance seems to make sense at the mo. Just paid £86 with 1 year NCB for stock SV.

I was with Aquote - best quote by far, but at renewal time, with no changes to me, other than another claim free year, the cost went up by a silly amount. It' seems with cars and bikes, if you renew by default each year you get stitched up. So it it best to shop around each year. IMO.

I was with Aquote last year, TPFT £105, this year, Fully Comp protected NCB £116, the only other one i tried was the policy shop and they quoted £220 for the same cover. i don't understand it and i didn't need Noel tidy beard to ask deal or no deal. DEAL me in.
