Default Curvy seat removal?

How do i remove the riders seat on my curvy 1999 SV? The pillion is by the key but can't figure out the riders seat. Have a manual on the way only had her 3 days.

Hi mate, take off the seat infills (two allen bolts) first which gives you access to the two bolts that hold the seat on remove them and there you go simple as that.

Hello! Undo the black side panels, one on either side, and then there are two bolts either side of the seat. Undo those and hey presto!

Cheers guys, does the tank then lift up and prop up after you undo the 2 bolts at the front?

Yep two bolts at front then use prop from under rear seat if you got one or a chunk of wood or whatever you got.

I used to use a piece of string and tied it to the the grab rail at the back when I had the sv400.

Cool, don't think the prop is there, bike has been modified for racing so no tool kit etc, i mite add i'm not racing it i am riding it on the road.

Don't forget there's a plastic fastener under the rear of each side panel. Push the centre in to remove them.
