Default Not one to generalize but...

Riding back and forth from Longbridge to Erdington all day today, and im not making any exaggerations (sp) here, and EVERY SINGLE time i saw a woman in a burkha in a car, they were on the phone. now not like its strapped to their head, fully out in the hand and on loudspeaker.
after the first few i started to count how many there were.

between 9am and 2pm i saw at least 15!!! thats alot of selfish BA***RDS who dont realise that they could easily kill someone or seriously injure someone without even realising.

now where are all the police who should be catching these people?? they are dealing with crappy paperwork that should be made obselite (sp)

rant over

Do what I do, pull alongside and just stick your thumb on the horn.

Its hard for them to talk with a Stebel going off next to them.

I'm still amazed that you are allowed to drive a car in a full burkha.

I saw it loads of times while working in brum last year.

Legal for a burkha but not legal to drive a car on the road in a full faced helmet as "it obscures view"...

"but officer, i was practicing for a rally."

also, if you wear a turban for your religion, helmets on motorcycles are not a legal requirement. now, as to wether they get insurance is another matter.

We did it a few years ago in a fiesta RS on the way back from a downhill event with 2 bikes on the roof.

We thought it was funny as hell (as you would at 19 years old and in full motocross kit) but the copper didnt

I didn't know that. Was on my way to the Karting track last Saturday and didn't want my helmet rolling around in the back of my car so I put it on my head.
