Default M1 BBplastics swop

hello has anybody got any tips on putting a BB plastics m1 rear end on. I know the battery will have to be moved with starter relay but still looks like alot of wire to hide. hope this question is in the right place thanks

Yes mate, it can be a fiddle but is possible. We have kept the ecu, fuse box downside to the rear left frame under tank, the tilt switch attached to base of tank bracket (nylon ties), extended the battery wires, picked up an earth off right side engine casing bolt and passed additional wiring under airbox between cylinders. Its busy down there and you may have to open the loom a little. We obviously dumped the original battery tray under the seat and installed a right sided battery tray from BB Plastics attached to bracket under rad and picked up on the front cylinder right side engine to frame bolt to fix the rear of the new GRP battery tray. Phew! Works really well although a loom tidy is planned. Hope this helps. Dont forget the tilt switch must remain upright!

hello coxxy thanks for the tips on bb plastic swop they,ve made things a bit clearer than the mud i was in.I,m just in the proccess of making a sub frame n battery tray. thanks again
