Default Mod 1 in one week! :0

Hello everyone!

new to his forum! I have a beautiful Suzy Sv650 waiting for me for WHEN I pass my test.

Mod 1 is next week, any tips for success? I've owned a YBR 125 since july, clocked up over 3000 miles on it, love riding. Practised all my moves in car parks! Can't wait, Direct access starts next week.

Life saver before moving anywhere! Has to be treated as if you're pulling away on the open road, even if it is just a yard. I passed mine last year and it's been great fun getting in some miles and meeting up with people on here. Good luck to you sir!

As Reeder said lifesaver / General Observation and go @ your own pace through it - obviously not through the speed traps etc -

Good luck !

tips for success, don't worry about failing it, its not the end of the world, its only about 30quid to retake it.
My bro failed his Mod 1 twice, I think getting to hung up on passing it first time will make you nervous, when i took mine I didnt expect to pass first time so i was more relaxed and managed pass.

After that strange bit of advice, just remember your observations, especially after the emergency stop

Thanks for the tips, especially Grimey, that one i'll definitely be thinking about! I know the importance of lifesavers, the biggest thing people say when asking about the tests, especially mod 1! My question was basically just an excuse to introduce myself! Been a regular visitor to this forum since september, thought I would finally join! Looking forward to parting ways with the YBR, I do love it, but at 6"3 i'm looking forward to a bigger beast

Hope all goes well. Lifesavers (or lack of) are always a good reason to fail people so don't fall into the trap. And cancel the indies.

Looking forward to a 'Hey I passed' thread
