Default Quick Question, Mod 2 second attempt tomorrow!

Hi all,

I've been swotting up on rules of the road for tomorrow, as its my second attempt at mod 2. Don't want anything that'll catch me off guard!
quick question though,

should you indicate when pulling over? I presume you do, its just i got two minors last time for unnecessary indicating, I know one of them was for indicating round a big bin lorry, which i was told to do if the vehicle is big, but it was misleading as there was a side road nearby.
any ideas why i may have got another? Indicating to pull up is one of my ideas, or maybe I was just being too cautious and indicated twice at a mini roundabout! Im fretting about nothing i think. I want that blue SV more than anything!!!!!

My 2p on indicating:

When pulling over, yes

When pulling away, yes

When passing a small object (cyclist, ped) that the vehicle behind may not be able to see, yes

When passing something that should be obvious to the vehicle behind (parked car, bin lorry), no

All of the above with a caveat that you aren't going to confuse someone else by indicating, as you found out with the truck parked near a junction

It's a minefield, but don't sweat it, you'll be more relaxed and if you show relaxed confidence the instructor is more likely to give you some leeway with minor errors...

As TLW say be relaxed and you'll do ok. just make sure you do your headturns, MSM etc.

good luck with the test!

Having recently done my car test the advice given re indicators on stopping was to do it if there was someone around to benefit from it, if you do it every time then it gives the impression you are just going through the motions and not observing.
But, that wouldn't be a fail.
