Zig pointed me to this thing as I hadn't noticed it, so I'm guessing it's the 7-10th May, about £100 plus spending and petrol, is that about right?

Oh and where can I find your itinerary for the weekend?

I went each year for the TT for 8 years, stopped after they robbed everyone with the bike fest fiasco the year of foot and mouth, and haven't been back since.

If I understand the ferry pricing sheets right, the undiscounted fare is £140 return - but for the suggested times this year, there were special offers in effect which drop the price somewhat.

The amount of info they want about you to get on the offers list is ridiculous though.

I (like any others taking uni exams) will have to wait until the time table for exams is released. I guess a ferry ticket will be super dear if your buying it from the quay side.

Just a quick heads-up - the 2010 bike special offers have now been posted at http://www.steam-packet.com/NR/rdonl...ialoffers1.pdf.

There is an offer covering all three weekends, which brings the cost down to just under £75 return (with a weekend supplement on top for friday, saturday and sunday arrivals or departures). To answer leedsmatts question, you can get that offer if you book right up to 48 hours before sailing.

Are there any more details or plans set in stone yet for the accomodation?

yes just waiting on 3 small things and then concrete info will be going up early to mid jan

yes the org have spoken and the dates are 7th-10th of may full details of site will be up soon when manx is out of hospital
i will say to those who need to know early that the main campsite/staging point is in Peel
but like i said all other details will be up in due course
