My policy runs out on April 22, I had a claim on April 25 (last year).
The question I have is... when my policy runs out, can I use one of those 'short term' insurance companies to insure me for four days, to make my policy then start on 26 April? That way when three years have passed I'll be rid of this damn claim (car hit while parked)? |

How did you hit a car whilst parked??
My gut says,yes-course you can ...although are you sure its only 3 years to disclose accidents?if so yay that means my series of accidents in 08 will be off the slate!

No no, my car was hit while it was parked. I was in the house at the time, I came out early in the morning to find it knackered!
Disclosing claims is three or five years depending on the insurer. |

check it out though you will probably find the three days cover will cost more than the extra for buying a policy with the claim on it.
Also most insurance companies ask about 5 years accidents... |
