I've just fitted my Poly 26 bellypan and noticed one of the clamps near the heat shield is touching the bellypan, causing the fiberglass to heat up.
When I got the bellypan the previous owner obviously had the same issue as the paint was cracked around the area before I re-painted it. I've stuck some heat reflective matting along the length of the exhaust in the bellypan but it will obviously still touch and get hot. Has anyone else had the same issue and resolved it or just lived with it? Cheers |
