Default 2 piece leathers to fit big calves

I'm a fairly large chap anyway, but ever since I remember I've had freakishly large calves. Getting boots was bad enough (I now have the Sidi boots with the ratchet system that fit ok), but getting the trouser half of a 2 piece suit to fit seems impossible. I've even tried them two waist sizes up and my calves are still uncomfortably tight (and I have to hold them up!).

Are there any manufacturers that are more generous in the calf area, or is my only option the expense of a made to measure suit? (or more likely stick with textiles )

Assuming I can find something to fit, are there any boots with more calf room than the Sidi's? I very much doubt I will be able to get leathers inside them as they are already very snug.

Try Wolf Titanium leather trousers mate as they are generous in the calf department. I have large claves and found that with other leathers I tried on, such as RST, I could hardly do the zip up from the calf down to the ankle. The wolf leathers are far more generous for the larger calf and very comfortable. I bought a pair last year and they are great. Also, I found that alpinestars boots were bigger in the calf - particularly the smx4 (or smx5 is the latest version) - than other makes. I've got a pair of smx4s and there is plenty of room.

Couldn't find anywhere with the Wolf trousers locally so took a risk and bought the Titanium jacket and leather jeans via a dealer on eBay for £305 delivered which isn't a bad deal I reckon. Amazingly the jeans actually fit over my tree trunk legs very well giving a perfect snug fit. The waist is a little more generous than expected, though there is (just) enough adjustment in the velcro strap and they zip up to the jacket anyway. The jacket is a fairly tight fit compared to my Spada jacket of the same size, but it's pretty comfortable and I'm sure it will loosen with a bit of wear and some more dieting

Thanks for the recommendation anyway

Ay, the waist on the wolfs can be generous. But the room in the legs and calves make up for it. If I were you, I'd break the leathers in then if you feel they are still roomy around the waist, take them to a cloathing alters to get taken in an inch or two. Would be an easy job for them.

I recently took my leathers to a local place for repair as I ripped the seams in a spill and they did a fantastic job and it was reasonably cheap. They weren't leather specialists, just a local cloathing alteration place.

I know the wolf trousers don't actually take that long to break in, so I presume the same would be for the jacket. Probably a few rides and it'll feel like a second skin.

I've even managed to get my Sidi boots over the top of the leathers and done up, though it was a bloody struggle and I was a bit concerned about loss of blood circulation! However, I've been walking around most of the afternoon wearing them and the boots seem to have stretched a little making it reasonably comfy now. Need to get them as broken in as possible before I leave for the IOM at the end of the month.
