depends if you want OEM or patterns

Patterns- Wemoto I've got a pattern set and they're spot on
OEM- main dealers, could be a wait tho as parts are being affected due to the ongoing disaster in Japan

eBay - won't split the kit
Google - load of useless and twaddle but a link to this forum

the dust seals and brake seals need to be changed as a set.
If the dust seal is finished, the brake seal will be affected

I have no issues with pattern parts but can't justify buying a full set just for the dust seals

Brake seal is fine. No wear on them at all. Luckily the dust seals done their job fantastically

Good morning all.

Do the job properly & renew the lot. It's only about £18 inc VAT per caliper for genuine seals.

It amazes me that people even consider re using caliper seals, after boiling them in water, & other such practises.
If your bike doesn't start in the morning, it's a pain in the Ar$e, if it doesn't stop, it can hurt all over. Don't feck about with brakes.

Cheers.

If the dust seals have had it, there will be some deterioration of the hydraulic seals, even if it isn't obvious. Also, disturbing it won't do it any good either.

Any seal or gasket is only meant to be used once. People often re use fork seals, or gaskets etc. Only to have to do the job again sooner rather than later, due to leakage of some sort.

As I said, why feck around with brakes, for the sake of about £36!

Cheers.
