Rite im soo confused with sat navs for bikes, I know there is a few threads about but non really answer my questions.
I am looking at a tomtom rider v2, however the information I can find on the web is minimal, so i would be grateful if someone could set me straight. We want 1 sat nav unit that we can move between 3 bikes; - VFR800 - Gsxr600 (my brother/mcgrimes is getting one next week) - GSR 750 What do I need to buy to do this? Ideally we would want the mount and cables on each bike and have the ability to just swap the unit around- is this possible? Also i have heard that the standard tomtom mount will not fit on a bike with "clip ons", is this correct and if so what do i need to get to fit it to the VFR and gixxer? |

If you buy a TomTom you can buy a seperate power lead for each bike, then just swap the cradle from bike to bike when you need.
A lot of peeps on the Org recommende the Telferizer ram mount, I've got one and its brill, simple to fit, so long as your top yoke nut has a hole in it, and very good at damping the vibes down completely. Call Rob and order one, he's a top bloke http://www.telferizer.com/
