Gutted for you . damage doesn't look too bad though, just hope the forks are ok, nearly cocked up myself today corner was much tighter than i imagined and ended up with back end sliding everywhere as i tried to slow! Scour ebay for your bits!

bad luck mate least your ok- let me know if you need out-i've got spare rear brake pedals and can have a check for rh side controls.the joys of biking eh.Rest up, body heals quicker than the mind.

On a serious note, you say you bought some replacement bolts for the ones you were too much of a girl to get off normally?

Those are not normal bolts holding the dogbones and linkage together, they are different grade treated to be strong in shear, and are also shouldered. I would NOT trust an unshouldered bolt, especially the cut-thread type in such a place.
Use OEM bolts there, or bolts from similar area in another bike!

Yes I agree with YC. The bolts are sand bolts or something, if that makes any sense

I do wonder if trying to do so much after the observed ride may have been a bit much. Usually quite stressful doing stuff like that. Just a thought. Glad you're ok and bike isn't too badly damaged.
