Default So THATS what knee sliders are for then

Driving down the Bristol Road in Northfield, riding along......BAM.....stupid woman in a white mini, registration BN10 OHS, just moves across from her lane and side swipes me, manage to hold the bike just away from the kerb and lay it down. she jumps out "oh so sorry, didnt see you there" i have an ART baffle-less stubby, how the hell she couldnt hear me god knows.

im shouting and Fing and jeffin at her for being such a silly Cnut. i checked my bike all over and not a mark, barely a mark on the crash bobbin. i look at her car and there is a 6inch dent/deep scratch on her passenger door. look at knee slider and see some paint wedged in there. she didnt want to go through insurance as she already has 9 points and cant afford her insurance to go up more.

stupid woman, but at least im alrite and she got a nice fat dent/scratch for her troubles

stupid woman, GGGGRRRRRRR

Make sure you claim of her for a new knee sliders and a new bobbin though!! If she won't pay up, just call your insurer with her reg and you can put it through as a claim on her policy. Mwuh ha ha!!

Better than that - you should have gotten her off the road by reporting her and getting her the other 3 points.

Could have quite as easily been a "Tom-K6 RIP" thread...

As long as you are OK Tom, just have a ride by the address to make sure it's there in case.
Take care, JOHN

Did you take photos of the damage/way the bike was laid down in the road etc...? Just in case she comes back & explains that you drove into the side of her & she wants it repairing to brand new standard...

Most people I've known on 6 or 9 points are amongst the safest & slowest of them all, sounds like she needs taking off the road so she can be retested before coming back on again
