Question Fitting a tinted screen?

I looking at a tinted screen for my pointy sv, just checking to see if its as simple as it looks undo the 6ish bolts round the screen remove screen slot new one in and tighten nuts? Im only asking as i dont fancy taking the screws out to find the nut at the back drops into the fairing or something.

Cheers

If it's anything like the curvy one I have just fitted it's a doddle mate. Only 4 fasteners on the curvy though. They're held in place with those little expanding plastic fastener thingies, I'm not sure what their proper name is. You might want to order some new fixings as they don't seem to like being re used though. I have some on the way from ebay, £4.95 Probolt screen fitting kit so mine will be replaced as soon as they arrive.

Don't worry, nothing should fall into the fairing and if it does gravity will take care of it.

I have the same bike and as above nothing will drop off, BUT it is alot easier if you losen the complete fairing so you can access the back of the expanding rubber plugs that hold the screen in. I pull these out to get the screen off but it's a bit of a bitch to feed them back in - hence if you can get your hand behind them you can pull the rubber through - very much like getting a rubber grommet into hole.
