Default 0230

Its 0230 and I'm halfway through my last nightshift so thought I'd bore you all with my musings...

So nearly 8mths in to my riding career. I have to say I think I made the right choice in the Sv650. What a bike!... Now this comes from a man who did the DAS and so hasn't ridden anything else.

Yesterday morning the sun was beating down as i opened up the throttle on my way home to the wife. And I realised that I am, we are, some lucky son-a-guns... Who else but bikers gets to smell, feel and absorb the sheer pleasure off tonking along country A roads on a beautiful spring morning...

I rode all winter and although some times it was cold, bit soggy and occasionally a bit misty I still loved it. Summer riding however is something else!...

I can't help thinking also that every other rider I now nod my head to has the same grin spread across there face as i do... bloody marvelous

And this forum is pretty awesome too... loads of help and advice to be had for the newbie riders like myself.

thankyou and goodnight!

Ha, it's a great feeling innit...I have been riding for 37 years and just last week bought an sv650, and i love it. I've had gsxr1000's, gsxr1100's, supermoto's, drag bikes, moto x bikes, raced them all, but the sv puts a bigger smile on my face than just about all of them.
Enjoy your new found freedom mate, and watch out for all them nutters on the roads where you live

I still see the same hardy bikers I saw through winter on my commute. The nods are still flowing but they're a little more upbeat about it now, you can almost sense the excitement in the haste of thier movements.

SV's are a great introduction to V twins. But just wait till you get a proper bike.
