he looks like he's wearing entirely appropriate gear for riding a motorcycle...

Good on them for getting him out and not just standing there like lemons though.

Totally. Beats other videos where they manage to finish the rider off by dropping the car on him.

Was the guy even wearing a lid?
Good job they didn't leave him in case he sued them for not using a spinal board.

As injury_ian commented, you don't need to wear a lid in the USA as all cars are made of jello.

That's brilliant!

It just goes to show that people are OK really.

Just imagine, tyring to lift a large car like that. I've seen a whole crew of Firemen struggle, yet they just popped it up. Just goes to show what adrenaline can do!

Well done to them all.

Well done the old guy in the blue T' shirt, seems like it was his idea and the rest didn't think about it for too long.

There's a longer clip here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47wFWZ7LrIE

They did a great job getting him out, but then just leave him there without even checking to see if he had a pulse. I'm guessing they thought he was dead (and by rights he ought to have been) but it would have been a sad ending if he had died simply through a lack of basic first aid. Still, a happy ending as he was awake and talking the next day.

Guy on my trailbike group travels that road, passed through earlier. He posted story a couple of days ago http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=17220387
Notice the suited dude (presumed car owner) not doing a lot

Edit - ok thats a bit harsh, he's probably in shock, or a manager

I saw this report on yahoo earlier, but my stupid internet couldn't stream the vid.

A cracking team effort by a bunch of strangers. I'm surprised he wasn't crushed.
