Best oil? Yet again.
best oil for a sv1000s?
i put castrol power 1 in my cbr600rr and that seemed to make engine spin up quicker but its fully synthetic will it affect the sv? |

I always use fully synthetic in the SV.
Use correct quality rating eg, SF, SL etc, oil viscosity (weight) is secondary. Lots and lots on oil in the org..... |

cheers mate its just i know some bikes you have to be careful with synthetic oil as can cause clutch to slip

Some car oils it is said. Bike full synth is safe for wet clutches.

TBH I wouldn't waste my money putting a full synth in an sv1000 lump.
But if you have the cash, who am I to suggest you save it.

power 1 is good if your abusing (racing) the motor.
I'd stick with the semi synth as there is not much between semi and fully
