Pretty much 100% think they are identical
Check out the Alpha sports fiche http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_p...FQ89Zgod71IQjg Thought you were selling yours? Get the later K3 - K5 CCT, better than the original curvy ones

Pointy cam chain tensioners are different front and rear (well from K5 onwards at least).

Front and rear are both the same. I have just upgraded the originals to some K3 or K4 ones. Ratchet type.

Same front and rear for curvy.
I think the OE ones are fine, bit of rattle is normal and people (including me until I took one in bits and had a look) think that rattle = sticky.

The rattle is caused by the front one being not constantly submerged in oil. mines rattle on and off for over 11k and had no ill effect. There is also a chain of thought that just changing just the tensioner is prolonging the replacement of the guide and chain. Saying that the parts should be good for easy 60k if not 100k

Explain that because it doesn't make sense to me.

I asked the question of a mechanic about the SV CCT's (and GSXR 600 srad's as the tensioners are similar in design and fail more often), and most cases the cam chain and guide is also on its way
