Newbie - SV650.org

Hi guys. Just to introduce myself, my name is Jon, im 18 (19 in december) and from Southampton, and ive just bought myself an SV 650

. Bought the bike off a felow forum member, Philz.

Bike:
2007 K6 SV650S
Beowulf end can
Tinted Double bubble screen
Michelin Pilot Road 3's
New levers + gear change lever
Tail tidy + smaller number plate

Mods to be done:
Solo seat cowl
Tank pad (ASAP)
Front brake fluid resovior cover
Rear hugger

Pics of the bike as it stands:-

P.S - I realise the fairings arent clipped together, thats because the fairings went on for the pics, and then came back off again for cleaning

Shame you had to buy a pointy, but at least you've halted the yellow invasion!

Nice and clean.

Love those levers,
Also the clear indicator lenses ( hope them bulbs are orange).
But why are the rear ones pointing into space or are you planning to spend a lot of time on back wheel?

Just check that bracketry holding the lower fairings together at the bottom as it looks loose to me. Invest in a bottle of loctite ( threadlocking fluid) for every screw you replace.
And as with most tail tidy conversions youll need a rear reflector at MOT time, can't see if you have one.

I wish you as many happy hours riding as i get from my SV.
