I'm pretty excited today so thought I'd let you all know that....
I'm off to study medicine at Uni of Nottingham!!!!! ![]() A level results today, many happy, many depressed faces. I hope for any other A levelers on here that it was a good day for you! ![]() In celebration of this I've asked the kind moderators to change my incredibly embarrassing name! Soon I will be known as " Dr. M" ![]() |

Congrats and good luck.
Make friends with nurses and auxiliaries, they know how to run the hospital better than the consultants. and dont get too big for your boots. Enjoy Uni. |

A Level time is always enjoyable... the news crews seeking out only the juiciest teenage girls to interview. The one on the BBC, short red hair, the camera panning down to look at her boobs... er... RESULTS ENVELOPE as she opens it.
Congratulations to Dr. M. Remember what they say, doctors are always getting younger... |

Most of the people getting their A-level results today were'nt even alive when I got mine.
Hope the news is good for you all - I'm off to find a bottle of (purely medicinal*) vodka after realising the impact of my first point. * See what I did there? Dr M - medicinal vodka?? Never mind...

As fenjer said, don't get too big for your boots, treat everyone with respect cos it goes a long way.
You p1ss someone off early on, you never know when you meet them later in life, they may end up being your boss or something and make your life hell as payback. The team players will get more opportunities in their careers as they are easy to work with. Finally, follow procedures rightly or wrongly to the letter, it's someones elses problem / responsibility then if you've done your part and something goes wrong. |
