Default Ram Mount

Used my tomtom in a waterproof case on my bike the other weekend with a homemade bracket off the tank bolts, but I have the ram system.

What ram mount braket do you have on your bike and where is it attached?

I have a pointy 650s so anyone using a ram mount on this would be eager to see your choice so I can order soon.

Cheers
Fletch

I just fitted my tomtom rider to stem. Had a nicely shaped piece of nylon already curved to fit dome nut. Cut ram knob off supplied bracket, drilled and taped it 6mm thread. Fixed with a long bolt and a star washer. Doesnt look too unsitely and gets satnav near brake reservoir, so clocks are now visible.

Cheers souldude for the reply don't suppose you have a pic?

I could cut the ball off and fix it with bolt to front brake lever mount maybe thats how had it on my old SV but was still on there when bike was scrapped.

Fitting powered socket up to front for the power

Thanks for posting pics souldude never seen it done like that before, certainly keeps it out the way and to one side.

Cheers for that

This one is mine, the small U mount placed next to the clutch, just about fits on and worked great.

These are the bits I have purchased

Ram do make stem mounts but they dont look like they fit the curvy stem nut.

Cheers M77 surprised you managed to fit that bracket next to the clutch that must be tight.

I was thinking of making some of my own mounts and making them work with the ram mount system but I don't want ram mounts giving me grief if I did.
