Default Visiting Nottingham 1 & 2 October

Dropped my youngest (a daughter) of today ready for uni at Nottingham Trent.
I lived in Nott'm till I was 32 so know the area well. Shes got a room in a house on Alfreton road (yes I did tell her what it was like but all cities have rough areas).
The problem is I am visiting in 3 weeks and cannot get the bike into or behind the house. Anyone live fairly close to the Alma and can I leave the bike at yours. I don't fancy leaving it on the street. BTW walked up the road and Alfie Gaggs is still going, I was a customer from 1971 on.
Cheers Mal

I lived about twenty seconds from Alfreton Road last year and have just graduated from Trent. Shame she wasn't a year early as i had a little compound that would have been perfect for bikes.

If i were you i'd honestly just leave it on the street. Put a disc lock and maybe a chain lock on it and if you;ve got a cover throw that over the top. Somewhere like Gamble Street would be OK to leave it. I've left my bike on the street many a time and only had an issue once.

Might have to leave it on the street. The bikes garaged at home but I do have an Oxford rainex cover for trips away. The bike is alarmed, I have two lock/chains and a disc lock. Anyway trips been put off for a week due to lack of funds.
