Question Engine Couriers?

Can anyone recommend a cheap courier that will take an engine? Does it need to be boxed up or anything? It would be about 500miles

Thanks

try parcel monkey - it needs to free of fluids and must be securely mounted on a pallet or crated.

+1

Berlin sent a motor like this, he left the engine oil in.
For weight it need to be palletised (circa 50kg), and ratchet strapped for peice of mind (the cheapo ones are ideal).

PM Husky03 he does the most wheeling + dealing with bikes.

Easiest way is to make one from for 1/2" board and some 3x2

I picked up a couple of pallets from my local travis perkins for free as they had some knocking around.

Parcel monkey's website is quoting me £34.99 by Nightfreight Next Day, that was a pallet quote

paisleyfreight.com are £29.99 for next working day

Those quotes are for 50kg - 40cm x 60cm x 60cm

What am I doing wrong? lol Why is it so cheap?
