This one's listed on eBay with no model year:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...#ht_500wt_1175 I've asked the seller a question but they're taking their sweet time responding and the auction ends tomorrow... There's a description of the correct shock elsewhere on the forums, but my knowledge of the anatomy of a shock is quite poor so I'm not sure if it's right. (Great big parasite that I am, this is my second cry for help in as many days. I promise I'll start contributing as soon as I know enough to be useful!) D |

looks a lot like the 2005 zx10 shock i've got fitted to my curvy, not sure how to tell the difference between the different year shocks though, i'd keep trying to get in touch with the seller to confirm the year of bike it came off to be on the safe side,

Thanks very much for the quick responses! I'll keep trying for a seller response, but if it looks right to all you guys I'll probably pop a bid in closer to the closing.

If you don't win that, then an Orger has one for sale

Thanks, yeah I noticed that but wasn't sure if it was still for sale. Hence my question on that thread!
I'd rather buy from an Orger than an eBayer who hasn't even put the year details up, but I'm hedging my bets by checking out both ![]() Fingers crossed, eh? |

The eBay seller has replied saying it's an '04-'05 shock. My head's swimming from reading through some gigantic threads on here about fitting various shocks so I'm afraid I have to ask: does that fit with just a small cut to the battery box?

its requires a decent bit cutting out but is generally considered the best year zx10 shock to fit to a curvy as its a fair bit stiffer
