Default Riding with unbalanced carbs - damage?

!!!!!GEMMA'HERE FORGOT TO SIGHN DAVE OUT!!!!!!

well the day has come i have taken ownership of my trike, in the end i did not convert my sv as it would have been very costly to get one with a proper made suspension.

i now have a yamaha dragstar 650 trike, this is my question

dave picked it up on tuesday and said that its running a bit rough, possibly the carbs need balancing(dont ask me the technical stuff)

i have two days off and my bike will be in the garage possibly from after 1 tomorrow, i want to go for a ride

WOULD IT CAUSE ANY DAMAGE WITH THE CARBS NEEDING BALANCING IF I TOOK IT FOR A SHORT RIDE OUT TOMORROW
(weather dependent, i aint doing my first ride on a bike/trike in2 years in the ****ing down rain)

advice please
gemma

This.
My old ones were full of crap and I'd about 1000 miles on them in that state

Come on Gemma, pay us a visit I could do with a good belly laugh.

PS, when did you start listening to that big useless streak, you call your husband anyway?

well been out today for a good three hours,

I'M IN LOVE!!!!!!! I CANT BELEIVE HOW MUCH I HAVE MISSED THIS.

My grin is definatly from ear to ear, few kinks to iron out, such as need brake lever moving round so i can use it properly(i got little hands)

The Trike which i have named"Temperance" is now in the shop being checked over, due to very loud backfire when i roll of the throttle, made worse by straight through pipes, also just to check nowt else up.
Depending on what garage say when they phone my later i will drop round to see you tomorrow
Mr wilky if you are in that is!!
and after two years and no bike riding and also the last one i rode was 125cc and this is 650, the saying is true it really " is just like riding a bike".

Temperance in Samuel Street, well I never. However as Preston is the home of Joseph Livesey it shouldn't be an unknown concept locally, despite Dave's best efforts to demolish any connection between Preston and temperance.

So I suppose it will make a change to spend your hard earned on fuel instead of Carling.

PS, out for Sunday lunch. But will be back by mid afternoon.
