Default BMW Service

Sooo the time has come for my beemer to get some fresh lube.

Last time, after nearly dying of shock at main dealer prices I went instead to a BMW Independant Specialist in/near colchester which was about half the price of a main dealer.

This time round, for the life of me I cannot find the same place or similar round my way or near work!

Does anyone know of any round these areas?

Harlow, Barnet/Potters Bar

Just for reference, BMW Stansted want £183.02 ex VAT for OIL ONLY (no filters, nothing, JUST oil).

Think that's taking the **** a bit!

try kwick fit. or similar. they often price things based on engine size so you might get an oil and filter change quite cheep.

PMW in Chelmsford. Near the University. Brilliant, all the lads are ex-BMW staff.

Long story...

Actually, it isnt lol.

Lease started as 10,000 mpa so over a 3yr term, 30,000 miles. In that I would need 1 service and maybe a set of tyres. It wasnt enough to warrant inclusive servicing.

However, shortly after, my office location moved which meant I over doubled my mileage. Contract for mileage got upped, but adding on Maintenance prorata was ridiculously expensive, hence I am now where I am.
