WWII: The Last Heroes

Anybody been watching this? Tonight's episode the first one I've seen (wife is out and so X Factor hasn't taken over!). I'm now going to watch the rest on 4OD. Very powerful bit of programming. It makes you wonder what de-humanised the German officers in charge during WWII, to the extent that they would choose to commit war crimes of such atrocity.

Yes, I've been watching, very good programme.
