Talking Pooker, pleasantly surprised

Power Snooker on it itv4 now.

TBF better than i thought it would be from the blurb on the tv guide.

http://www.itv.com/sport/powersnooker/

Basically 20 seconds per shot, powerplay when a powerball (special red) it potted & double points when potting from baulk.

Thoughts?

Looks all right actually. Good to see the big names in it.

Yep. Not certain about the format but having been to the crucible and sitting silently (between pots), I like the fact that it seems a more relaxed atmosphere.

wtf looks like a snooker table stuck in the middle of a darts match..

I enjoyed the look of confusion on the players as to whose turn is was. Theres loads of potential but on the outset it seems like they have gone for broke with jazzing it up ( power snooker girls, power play, double points and a healthy dose of drunken heckling, countdown timer .

All they need now are half time hot dogs and cheerleaders and super fanfare for every power point scored. Yay for girls, nay for balls

Don't forget a commercial between each shot.
