Default hand Guards for SV650S 2008?

Hi all,

I think this got mentioned in my original heated clothing post - by the way the Keis X5 is actually really good!

Anyway, I have a 2008 SV650s and although I have Oxford Heated Grips, I would like to get some hand guards to protect from the wind. Just to complicate matters, I have heli-bars fitted (not stock) if that causes any complications?

I want some that are easy to put on (for winter only) and some I can probably acquire pretty quickly as I have to ride the bike back home this coming weekend (although I will just grin and bear it and get them for the way back if I have to).

If anyone can advise me on what would be best and how easy they are to put on and off that would great and I'd really appreciate it !

Many thanks in advance

Gaz

The Suzuki DL650 handguards fit on a pointy. Got them fitted to mine atm. Very simple to fit/remove.

Hi thanks for that, any particular year and any idea where I could order them online? I am guessing its just a screw on job for this kinda thing?

Also, are they any good? My heated grips go nice and warm but there is that weird cold vs. hot feeling when its really cold and I am guessing that is to do with the wind still getting to the hands!

Nope I mean guards, not sure I like the idea of not seeing the controls with muffs, although whichever will do the job better I guess.
