Some help please from Blackberry users?

Hi all

I'm an iMan (SK dont hate me) and all but one of my supported clients use iPhones so I'm a bit stuck on this one. Never really even used a BB extensively.

We have here a BB9900, running on BES. He's been Blackberry his whole life and has used many generations of them.

One historic problem he has had is the fact that he more often than not cannot see attachments on his emails. Some display ok, but most dont even show there is an attachment at all. Was hoping the new BB9900 would support PDF's but...

I checked around some forums and getting mixed feedback.

He is mostly a remote user, so not a lot of chances to see him or have the BB in my hand.

Any help or tips I can fire over to him to try?

I have a 9700 and i know that does not support PDF's, which is a real pain, but Word, Excel etc display fine with Wordtogo and sheettogo etc.

I have a Torch 9800, and I have no problem viewing PDF, or any other file for that matter.

Time for a software update maybe?

It was all up to date out the box 2 weeks ago.

Now, I'm not sure if he is able to view PDf's with docs downloaded from the web or not, but this problem is specifically email attachments.

I get PDF emails often, and I have no problems at all with viewing....

I'm just going to say it's a problem with RIM, they're always screwing up.
