Thumbs up Back in the (SV) saddle again!

Hello Everyone.

I happened across this SV650 in the for sale section and bought it. I couldn't resist it as I love these little twins as I suspect many of you do!

Its hooked up to an optimate now and sadly that's all I can do at present as I've got to go out for the day shortly. During the week I hope to get it running and ready for the MOT which I'll book in for next weekend.

I like the contrast between the panels and the wheels, looks good. Happy riding.

Cool - maybe paint the frame to match the wheels.

Glad it went to a good home! I was going to buy it, but stumbled upon one much closer to home which i bought instead.

Did you take the GSXR front end too?

No I didn't ask about that. I think someone else had it though looking at the for sale thread? Funny but I wasn't that interested in it but now i own the bike i'm thinking I should have! New bike enthusiasm I suppose!

Got it all working properly today.

Fitted some led indicators I was given with the bike and they are absolute crap. I'll be binning them in favour of some ordinary bulb types I think.

My LED number plate bolts turned up today though and just waiting on a bracket for the new legal number plate (temp for MOT) and then its readu to be MOT'd.

I had a quick number plateless ride around the block and all seems fine. Exhaust is a bit noisy so just hope the tester isn't worried about it as I dont have a baffle anywhere.

Rear sets are a bit much for me but I suppose I'll get used to them?

Also gave it a bit of a clean and it came up very well considering its been sitting about for a couple of years.

Couple of pics,
