Does anyone know where I can get a replacement rain cover for my oxford first time tail pack? Old one thrown away by the girlfriend thinking it was packaging apparently.
Obviously the cheaper option is just to cover it with a black sack, but if I can find a replacement cover cheap then I'd prefer that. Thanks |

Thanks. Tried them and got a helpful email back stating that they don't sell to the public and I should try a stockist. Just wondered if anyone know a decent stockist?

IMHO Just wrap up your stuff in binbags when packing. In my experience Oxford rain covers get shredded into useless bits of plastic at speeds above 50mph.

My Oxford tailpack cover has been all over the UK and France over four years, rain, wind and shine......its still complete with no rips. Depends on how you tie it down on itself I think.

^^^ This
I've used black binbags in soft panniers and tailpacks for years and I've never had any problems. That includes three hours of torrential rain from Baden-Baden to Verdun, and a similar journey from Mariazell to Tunzendorf. Goretex and binbags are the answer to everything. You can guarantee you'll tear one at some point so pack a spare. There's 10p well spent.
