Default Double bubble or not?

Hi All
Am looking at purchasing a new screen for my SVS, probably in light smoke. What are peoples opinions / experience regarding double bubble screens? Are they worth the extra or am I better off just buying a standard tinted screen? Will be doing some motorway miles but am a bit concerened that a double bubble may just deflect the wind directly into my face

For a curvy? A good DB like Fabbri works amazingly well, the poor ones don't do anything. My curvy was just loud at 90 with the wind going straight into your head, now it's fine.

I've not got my SV yet, but I test rode a CBR600f which had the factory option double bubble screen fitted. Honestly, at 70 miles per hour it felt like my head was in a washing machine, the buffeting from the screen hit me right in the helmet. Was much worse than the XJ6 naked that I'd learned on, at least that was just the smooth, though fast, air flow.

Saying that sitting on the SV it looked like the screen was much better positioned to direct the air over my head, rather than straight into it, so a double bubble screen may help. Ideally, try before you buy, else don't spend so much money that you won't want to just ebay the double bubble screen if it doesn't work out for you.

A decent lid makes wind a non issue.

Looks like it's worth giving the double bubble a shot. Time for some ebay research I think...
