Couldn't the shouty video guy have put the phone theft under citizens arrest?
I mean he witnessed the theft. Well, I say theft, from what I understood the guy who picked it up may have reasoned it was left on the train so maybe he thought he would remove the phone from the bag, break the unlock, find the 'home' entry and phone the owner. Possible? I imagine it went a little something like this, 'I took your phone from your unattended bag so I could make sure you get it back. Yes I know it sounds more plausible if I had picked up the whole bag and handed it in to the guard I rode past in the shoutymans video. Yes I am a scum bag but I really did think I should make sure you get your phone. Well shoutyman did make a sound argument about how valuable the phone may be to you so I thought I'd take it home for safekeeping. Yes, the photos etc. No I'm not taking the ****. No I haven't looked at your holiday snaps. Well okay but I haven't touched myself while I looked through them. Yes I'm lying. Okay I will hand myself into the nearest police station but I haven't nicked your phone I was simply looking after it. No I'm not taking the ****. Okay I am. Bye.' NAH, he must be a thieving scumbag after all
