Chain and sprocket sizes? - SV650.org

Emailed B&C Express and received a reply with the product codes for the Chain and Sprockets. Went to order them a minute ago and noticed something.

This is the chain I was told would fit - http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/525sg-...ma-o-ring.html

But these are the sprockets.

Front - http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/s-p-sp1-jpg-160.html
Back - http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/s-p-sp1-jpg-508.html

Now surely if the Chain is a 525 then a 520 sprocket won't fit and I should instead order this 525 sprocket? - http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/sprock...p4-jpg-29.html

Quick reply so that I can order them tonight. I would email B&C but probably won't get a replay until tomorrow.

Yeh the chain should match the sprockets

yep both should be 525's

So the chain and rear sprocket are good. But I need to order that 525 front sprocket I listed instead of the 520. Will be ordering them before 10pm so if I'm wrong please let me know, and if I'm right.

Not so simple, the correct 525 sprocket has 520 in it's part number, just to be annoying.

Everyone gets too hung up on online ordering, just ring them!

I went and ordered the 525 front sprocket, so that means that i ordered the wrong one?

Just got an email from B&C Express saying that the money transaction was confirmed but to prevent fraud they won't send my items until I email them a form of ID like a Bank statement, Driving licence etc. Anyone else had this problem?

The card is in my name and so is the PayPal account and my address is up to date aswell.

Going to call them monday as i their website says they're not open weekends.

Thats sounds dodgy?

I'll probably be ordering my c&s from them too, since the dealers I tried to buy them from messed it up and ordered me a standard size c&s, even though I asked for a bigger rear sprocket and longer chain. So let us know how the service is please. And if the front sprocket is 525 or 520
