Alternative to bar-end mirrors?

Hi, as I am in the process of "street fightering" my svs and plan on keeping the current clip-ons I am in the need of some rear mirror solutions.

The options I currently know of are bar-ends which I am really not a fan of, especially since I have just shelled out for some R&G ends.

Alternatively I could probably fit the lever brackets and master cylinder off a naked, which is a bit of hassle and not really that cheap. Plus I'm not sure if they will even fit on the clip-ons.

anyone know of any alternatives (and yes I need to have some )

You won't need the full naked m/c, reservoir assembly - it's the other half of the bracket that takes the mirror. The bracket wasn't much more than a tenner new from the dealer IIRC.

You just need that and the naked clutch perch. I think Bandits, at least the early ones, use the same parts so you should be able to get used parts from fleabay/scrappy easy enough.

Owenski has some decent ones on his DRZ - small round things that are slightly domed - look a bit like the 'blind spot' mirrors you see on cars. They're mounted on clamps around the bars IIRC - sure he can shed some light.
