Default Guilty pleasure riding routes.

Time to kick off the season with a new idea for the summer

The rules are simple:
- Find your road that is your guilty pleasure and post it!!

To start the ball rolling here's mine
Heddon > Military Road (Albemarle Barracks) > Whittle Dene Water > Stamfordham > Otterburn military road (A696)

http://g.co/maps/b989c

Its only around 13 miles but Whittle Dene to the A696 is all 1st and 2nd gear corners, narrow and road conditions depend upon the farm season. Today it was covered in farm crap and slower going.

So whats yours???

That area has most of my favourite local roads too.

Like the road that is on the left after you go through most of morpeth, cant even remember where it goes now, past the rugby club then into the sticks. Also there's an amazing rothbury ponteland loop i do. Shame i'm not getting on with my hornet to get excited about going out much at the moment.

Nah its further round, go through the town centre then right at the clock, up the road a bit through 2 sets of lights and hang a left past the rugby club, goes towards the dykenuek pub, canny road.

Each to their own and all that. I don't like that road at all from C to B. You cannot see round many of the corners due to the hedges, so have to slow right down for them or just risk it. Like this http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&...265.74,,0,9.18
Think you need to know where all the farm gates are ready for the tractors and mud.

The B4390 from New Mills to Berriew. Just 5 miles but a lovely ride.

The run to hartside is always amazing as well, especially if you take one of the more scenic routes to it.
