Default Quick quezzie - which silicon on exhaust?

Ive just replaced my can with a lovely oval carbon stubby and it attaches with 3 bolts. Theyre as tight as I can get them but there is a tiny leak just in one spot. I assume its ok to seal with silicon, question is which one, do i need heat resistant stuff or will plain old kitchen sealant suffice?

Thanks, KJ xx

I was surprised when Carbon Can told me to use plain bathroom silicon. But it works.

From my own experience it doesn't always work. If you have to buy some I'd get stuff that should work from the off.

Oven silicone sealant will also work.
