Some idiot in my underground car park decided to reverse at some speed into my bike. All's fine apart from bent bars. It's definitely the bars that are bent (the left side), not the forks.
So, i need to replace as it's bloody uncomfortable riding with my left arm slightly more extended than the right. How hard is it to replace them? My experience in mending stuff on the bike is pretty limited, so if it's hard'ish then i probably won't even attempt it. My bike (2002 curvy) currently has the OEM bars on it. I'd love to replace with some straighter bars if possible, but again if this is going to cause me problems then i'd rather go for the easier OEM ones. I don't fancy replacing cables etc. I've read that Renthal bars are quite popular. Would i be ok buying some from banditmania? Something like the low bars (22mm diameter?) Cheers for any help. |

Yes, but I bought mine from Demontweaks ebay shop.
Arrived the next day, and no quibble when I had to return them. OEM are made from Dairylea cheese
