I have a curvy race bike. I will be using the debrix emulators and at the same time getting suitable springs. Before I spend all that money on springs I want to check what's in there (I think it's standard).
Is there a way to visually tell the difference between stock and aftermarket springs? If aftermarket, can you visually tell the type e.g. 0.90, 0.95, 1.00? I'm unsure what is going on in the fork internals, especially the tops have the adjusters from a pointy, as I understand the curves don't have adjusters? Help much appreciated. |

The 2002 Curvy came with preload adjusters. They were seized solid on my dads bike though, so if yours are good at the moment then get some grease in the threads before they do the same thing.
K Tech etch the spring rate onto one of the flattened ends of the spring, but I don't know about any of the other spring manufacturers. |
