Default Yamaha 4-Zinger YF60S quad bike

I've been given this quad bike from my neighbors garage but its a non-runner and theres a few engine components missing. Its a 60cc two stroke from around 1986, a shaft drive very similar to the QT50 moped of the same period.

The reed valve and intake manifold are missing.

Anybody know anything about these quads or this particular engine, was wondering if I could salvage some parts or another engine from another Yamaha moped or something.

Also looking for an electronic download of the Yamaha service manual.

Can you drop a Hyabusa engine in there?

Was hoping for a freebie really, dont want to throw any money at it unless I know its a viable runner.

No pics as yet but will grab some tonight.

right, I'm bringing this one back to life...

Spent a few hours in the garage on the quad at the weekend. Seems I have nearly all the bits necessary bar a few seals etc. Have ordered a new set of head gaskets to get the top end back together. I even managed to get a spark from it so making some progress.

I just need to test out the oil pump and service the carb before giving it a try. Body work removed obviously.
